Hi I am Mike,

I am originally from Germany but I used to live for more than 20 years in the Dominican Republic. Since I was a little kid I was always very interested in my Moms cooking and I made my first Spaghetti with tomato sauce when my mom was sick and wasn´t able to cook for me and my brother, I was about 7 years old.

However what really got me into cooking was when I turned 18 and moved out and missed my moms home cooked meals a lot, so I learned to do it myself.

Later than, when I moved to the DR I liked their food a lot and also the haitian food when I was visiting Haiti (since those two countries are sharing the same Island) so I learned how to cook some plates there, however with the time being I started to miss the food I was used to get in Europe (Italian, Greek, Yugoslavia, French..etc. So guess what…this all lead to the international dishes I like to show you here on my Website.
